Hi there, hoping for advice please... I have a house with aluminium joinery and the condensation drips down from the windows...apparently double glazing might not be the best fix. Is anyone able to give any hints please? HRV? Other options? Pros and cons? The house is in Warkworth. Thank you very much.
Hi Josie, Have you looked into thermal backed curtains? Can be a good cheap option. You can get dehumidifiers pretty cheap also if you only have a couple of problem areas.
If house is on piles a layer of black polytean under the house will stop rising damp Roof insulation & HRV sorted a damp mouldy rental house
