Batteries being given stolen from sites
21/09/2016 19:55

As I'm sure alot of people on sites are aware, machines on construction sites are prone to getting vandalised, diesel drained and batteries stolen. We have just had a bunch of batteries stolen from a sire in silverdale in Auckland over the last couple of days so this is also a heads up that the thieves are in the area. Apparently batteries are stolen because they use the acid to manufacture the drug, please. If anyone has some good tips to prevent thieves from stealing or damaging gear, please feel free to comment below

We had covers made up to try prevent this happening. Well worth it to prevent down time and cost of replacing batteries and fixing cables. Can send a picture to show what they look like.

You can also buy a small android based security camera that you hide in the area or on the machine. These work great at night and send an image of the person in the act straight to your phone. They have helped us catch people out.
